We practice the following etiquette to help you and others make the most of the forums:

1.0 Posting Rules
1.1 the language of this forum community is ’English’. If you would like to see the board used in different languages please contact a member of staff.
1.2 Before posting your question, search the forums. Your question or comment may have already been discussed, answered or resolved.
1.3 Postings must be on topic of the thread/forum you are posting to. The moderators will move them to the appropriate forum-area if needed or are entitled to remove them.
1.4 Create a concise subject that adequately summarises your topic in the help sections. For example: I need help on Fog Realm......?’
1.5 Do not use words such as ’Urgent’ or ’Important’ in your subject line. Every post here is considered important.
1.6 Do not use all capital letters, excessive question marks (?) or exclamation points (!) in your subject or content.
1.7 Personal opinions are welcome but please be aware that not everyone will share your own opinion.
1.8 If you have made an error in your posting, feel free to use the ’Edit’ function. Adding a reply to your own message may increase your post count but staff will take it away.
1.9 If you are unsure of your post, feel free to ask one of the moderators before posting.

2.0 Community Rules
2.1 Help others. The forum is a community, and works best when people share information.
2.2 Be patient. All the participants of this forum are using the forum and participating in discussions on their own time.
2.3 Give feedback. If someone helps you by answering your question or uploading something, try to add a follow-up response letting them know if it worked or you liked it.
2.4 Welcome newcomers. Do not chastise them for not reading the forum etiquette. Make them feel welcome in the community and do not make them feel dumb or silly. Remember your own first steps with a forum?
2.5 Make it clear to the supporters on your topic if a problem is solved and show your gratitude by thanking them for the help!
2.6 The Tavern Arena is not meant for flaming or insulting. If you need a place to rant, vent or spew, it’s ok in this forum but watch your language. Abusive or insulting language will not be tolerated.

3.0 Strictly Forbidden
3.1 Do not post any advertisements in the forums unless you have previously cleared this with a member of staff
3.2 No Flaming - do not post defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, racist, sexual, harassing or obscene messages in the forums.
3.3 No Cross-posting - your posting topic should always fit into one (1) forum. So there is no need to post the same posting into several forums.
3.4 NO linking to personal ftp accounts. This is not proper etiquette.
3.5 Posting or asking for illegal content is strictly forbidden.
3.6 Hotlinking to any file on the site will lead to instant removal of your account and possible action by current UK laws.
3.7 Doing one of the above will definitely lead to the removal of your message and the banning of your account and IP-address from this community indefinitely.

4.0 Technical Rules
4.1 Forum pruning will take place on a ’need to basis’ in order to ensure maximum performance and more efficient search results.

5.0 Rules, Moderators & Administrators
5.1 Changes to these rules can only be made by the publisher of this website, as he is the one, who is responsible, by law.
5.2 To be sure everyone in our community is living these rules, Moderators are watching the several forums. Moderators are set in and off by the Administrators.
5.3 Moderators have additional rights in their forum. Besides the closing or complete deletion of threads, they can also move them or make them sticky.
5.4 Moderators can and will set up additional posting rules, which meet the characteristics of the forum.
5.5 If you think a moderator is abusing his or her power, feel free to contact an Administrator using the link in the username.
5.6 Super Moderators are Moderators who are have moderation rights on all available forums and have other back-end abilities. Super Moderators are set in and off by the Administrators.
5.7 Administrators are people maintaining the technical background of this community. They are setting Moderators and Super Moderators in and off.

6.0 Final words
6.1 Enjoy the forums and learn a lot by helping others as well.
6.2 Feel free to contact the administrator if you are unsure about these rules.
